We’re seeking a socially savvy PR specialist for approximately\u00a015-20 hours a month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We want this person to be an outstanding critical thinker who takes pride in their work and does it with a positive attitude. We’re a growing PR\/Social firm, and we’d love to have someone who would like to grow with us. We take pride in treating our freelance team with respect, but we do work hard at Poodle Mafia and our clients expect great things from us. We like to deliver great things and have fun doing it.<\/p>\n

Your role would write copy and manage 2 social accounts (very light community management) with light graphic design and image\/video sourcing. These accounts are a cross-section of verticals including wellness and education.\u00a0Prior experience in the verticals is not necessary,\u00a0we will train.<\/p>\n

You take pride in your work and you’re always looking for a fresh way to execute a key message. You always keep the reader in mind and think about whether you’re adding value, entertainment or education with each post.\u00a0 Content creation is done a month in advance and scheduled. Monitoring for “crisis pauses,” ensuring posts go\u00a0live\u00a0and very light community management is also included.\u00a0 You will collaborate with business partners such as other awesome freelancers and take strategy direction from the Poodle Mafia team. Excellent social writing is a priority, an understanding of the cross-section between social writing, copywriting and traditional PR writing is appreciated.\u00a0 Bonus points for previous Facebook ad campaign experience. In addition to the management of social media, there may be some PR research projects including list building, influencer identification and occasional blog posts.<\/p>\n

Freshbooks, Podio, Canva, Hootsuite experience – or willingness to use those tools – is required.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n
